ForcePractical tension
ReconstructionRecording more inputs helps recovery; irrelevant detail increases maintenance and hides the inputs that actually change output.
Fast buildsCaches reduce delay but can hide an undeclared dependency or a build that never ran.
Byte identityStrict comparison detects unexplained variation; some outputs deliberately contain separately varying operational information.
AvailabilityPinned inputs stabilize meaning, but a version name is not enough when its bytes later disappear.
