Continue and change a shared practice

A working method may become easier to copy while the ability to explain, alter or teach it becomes harder to obtain. Or a capable group may reasonably decline a proposed change. Begin with the work and the contribution that could make a difference.

Find what the next work needs → compare learning and support → trace wider use → choose a feasible continuation → observe use → keep methods available for further development.

C.36.RP locates the unavailable contribution and compares learning, help, tools and changed arrangements. HCD.13 distinguishes human retention from support dependence when that question matters. DTM.2 and DTM.3 connect what another participant obtains with subsequent transmission; reconstruction can produce a useful variant.

Use ME.16 to separate a changed method from a changed way of introducing it, and ECO.7 when different participants must sustain a constrained support contribution. Return changed results to the method, learning, support or selection decision they affect. A supported decision to keep the current practice is a complete result.

The shared-method example follows these dependencies.
