CB.12:11 - SoTA-Echoing

Source line or developed treatmentContribution usedAdaptation and limit
Spinks, The Business of Belonging (2021), physical PDF 119–124Connect a participation occasion, action and experienced return; inspect why someone would come back. The historical participation-loop account is a starting heuristic. A topic-focused community does not guarantee a beneficial habit, and an external reward is not required for every useful return.
Duhigg, The Power of Habit, reader’s appendix, printed 275–286A practical historical approach to identifying an existing routine, examining its expected result and occasion, then trying a changed plan.Use inquiry and revisable trials; the account supplies neither a universal change formula nor a fixed repetition deadline.
Eyal, Hooked for the Enterprise, Trigger–InvestmentConnect accessible action with value accumulated through use.Retain useful material or connections for the person. Commercial retention, induced pressure and compulsory variable rewards are not the criteria for this voluntary practice.
Stojanovic, Grund and Fries (2022), context-stability studiesDistinguish repetition, automaticity, starting context and conditions during performance.Self-reported intentional habits in the studied populations inform a bounded design question. They do not establish the effect of a community intervention or make attendance an automaticity measure.
HCD.3:4.1–4.3 and HCD.15:4.1–4.7Compare human and non-training explanations; connect continuing development with meaningful triggers, support and evidence.Apply these suppliers when capability or professional development is the receiving question. They do not replace the particular participation arrangement.

Compared with a general reminder or reward programme, the method asks for more explanation of the wanted action and the failed condition. It can then remove unnecessary prompts or stop an unsupported activity. An existing routine or an accessible one-time route is preferable when it already serves the person adequately.

Source returns: Spinks; Duhigg’s reader’s appendix; Eyal’s enterprise account; Stojanovic, Grund and Fries. Reopen the arrangement when its action, context, useful return, support or accepted burden changes.
