CB.12:5.4 - End a reminder while preserving the useful result
A member uses a general daily notification to find occasional answers. It increasingly interrupts their work and draws them into unrelated conversations. They prefer to consult the maintained reference when their own question arises.
The organiser helps remove the notification and makes the reference route easy to recover. The member retains permitted access and can submit a question if the reference is insufficient. Their visible activity decreases while the wanted use remains available.
In another case, the person has also agreed to inspect a shared resource on a recurring basis. They still want to perform that task and choose a different workable reminder. If they also decide to stop the contribution, they agree a revised promise or handover with its recipient.
