CB.16:5.2 - A shared response can preserve a minority concern

A provider proposes moving a network’s support sessions to a new time. Most participating groups prefer the new slot; a smaller group would lose its only accessible session. The network gathers each group’s reason and confirms which service decisions the provider can make.

Its authorised position supports the new slot only if a usable alternative remains for the affected group. The spokesperson is permitted to compare equivalent alternatives but must return any proposal that removes access. The provider offers a recorded presentation.

The smaller group explains that it needs live questions about its cases, so a recording does not supply the missing contribution. The spokesperson returns that answer within the mandate. The provider agrees to test a second live session if an appropriate host can be assigned. The network reports the conditional result and the unfilled host requirement; access is not described as secured until that condition is met.
