CB.2:4.6 - Support the next exchange without hiding its cost
Use what happened to decide what should continue. Did the recipient obtain a useful result? Was the contributor’s effort acceptable? Which part needed organising help? What would make a similar exchange easier or more reliable?
The next step may be another deliberately arranged exchange, a modest adjustment to the request, a reusable reference, a change of timing, or a different route under CB.1. Invite continuation on the strength of a concrete useful experience. A member can introduce another suitable person when that person also receives enough information to choose.
Watch for initiative that is compatible with the purpose: a participant brings a new relevant question, offers help under stated limits or arranges contact without the organiser supplying every step. Treat such observations as local evidence of the arrangement’s current operation. They do not establish a universal growth stage or the long-term independence of the group.
Reduce or redistribute a particular organising contribution only when the needed work can still be done. If questions are now understandable but contributor matching still needs help, retain matching and stop rewriting every question. If recurring support has no willing, capable provider, reduce the activity, obtain resources or change the promise. Formal responsibilities and broader decision rights require their own agreement.
Do not use group size as the sole continuation test. A small group can deliver the desired contribution. A larger one can become less usable if the relevant questions no longer receive attention.
