CB.6:4.6 - Keep recognition distinct from continuing participation

A well-received acknowledgement closes the present recognition question. It need not establish a future obligation or a habit of returning.

Use CB.12 when the person wants help making a useful action easier to repeat. Use CB.3 for a changed role or a reduced commitment, and CB.5 when the needed repair is an absent contribution or receiving response. Learning feedback and capability assessment use their own HCD criteria.

Keep only the account needed for attribution, the offered benefit or later use. Publicly accumulating every acknowledgement can create a ranking that nobody intended to introduce. Retain a simple response when it does the job.
