CB.6:5.1 - A useful correction receives a specific return

In a constructed repairer association, one participant corrects a misleading applicability example in a shared reference. Another person confirms that the correction helped them distinguish two equipment configurations. The organiser asks permission to return that account.

The contributor prefers a private message and agrees to a brief credit on the corrected page. The response names the distinction they clarified and the use that the recipient reported. It makes no claim that all later repairs were successful.

A later public summary credits both the person who found the problem and the maintainer who checked and incorporated the correction. If a use report contradicts the correction, the subject review reopens; the acknowledgement of the contributed work does not settle the technical question.
