CB.6:5.4 - Appreciation does not settle provision
A garden association publicly thanks someone who has repeatedly prepared shared equipment. The person explains that the work now exceeds the time they can offer. More praise would make the burden more visible without removing it.
The association keeps the acknowledgement, agrees a smaller voluntary contribution and arranges the remaining maintenance through a responsible provider. Any payment already agreed is settled separately. Recognition and provision both have useful outcomes.
