CB.7:8 - Common Anti-Patterns and How to Avoid Them
| Misuse | Repair |
| Appoint the most visible member and assume they reach everyone. | Recover the relationships relevant to the missing contribution and include the affected group’s account. |
| Give a title without access or a usable decision boundary. | Obtain the specific enabling condition and establish the decision right through its proper source. |
| Treat an enthusiastic volunteer as permanently available. | Agree the burden and review point; change the promise when provision becomes insufficient. |
| Supply a large playbook while the difficult action remains unexplained. | Develop that action around a representative episode and feedback. |
| Let the founder rescue every trial of a successor. | Let the prepared successor perform while retaining the support the role actually needs. |
| Centralise every exception under the name of consistency. | State the common commitment and give local organisers the choices and means compatible with it. |
| Give every participant several observation duties and no time to confer. | Select fewer voluntary tasks, provide conference time and a receiving decision, or use a smaller individual contribution. |
| Interpret an unsuitable practice as a communication failure. | Return the substantive defect to the practice or offer owner. |
