CB.9:4.1 - Bound the work that support is supposed to enable

State the receiving result and period. “Keep the community active” is too broad to show what must be provided. “Offer one monthly case discussion with a qualified facilitator and return the agreed resources” exposes a different demand from “answer every member’s question within one working day.”

Recover each material expectation with the party that holds it. Participants may need dependable access; an employer may permit staff time to develop practice; a sponsor may want evidence of useful reach. Ask what each party offers, needs and has authority to decide. A staff member’s enthusiasm does not allocate their employer’s time.

Resolve incompatible promises before costing them as one programme. A confidential peer conversation and an identifiable sales-lead report require different permissions and participant expectations. Change the proposed terms, separate the activities or decline one promise when the conflict remains. CB.1 helps reconsider the contribution; CB.13 supplies a missing collective decision mandate.

For a group with several supporters, identify the person who can reconcile the demands on the same organiser. Retain the distinct results and receiving parties. Adding every possible sponsor benefit to one activity can multiply preparation, data collection and reporting beyond the activity’s useful work.
