CB.9:4.2 - Recover the resource demand, including quiet work

Walk through an actual or proposed occurrence with those who will perform it. Recover preparation, delivery and the follow-up needed for its result. Include access administration, conflict response and material maintenance where the promise depends on them. Ask what happens during absence or an unusually difficult case.

Express consequential requirements in usable units and time windows. Qualified facilitator-hours, a room booking and the organiser’s time are different resources. An available room does not supply a facilitator, and eight hours available next month cannot meet a promise due tomorrow. Preserve the capability and timing that constrain the work.

Use MA.1 to obtain a missing resource-consumption and cost account. It connects outputs, preparation, attempts and rework to resources and to the applicable payments. Use MA.2 when supplied, used, reserved and unavailable capacity have been confused. Keep donated time visible as a constrained contribution. Express its monetary value only when the receiving comparison needs and can justify that valuation.

Recover what is already committed elsewhere. OCE.11 helps arrange overlap with continuing work; OPS.5 supplies admission against the provider’s actual commitments. Obtain those results from the people who can change the work or its provision. A community schedule by itself cannot release a contributor from their other duties.

Use enough detail to decide. A small group may need only the next session’s tasks and contributors. A programme with staff, several locations or uncertain demand may need alternative schedules and a fuller account. Deepen a quantity when its plausible range changes the promise or the support decision.
