CHK.1:1 - Problem frame
Use this when a recurring omission matters to a work result and you are choosing, shortening or revising the questions that could expose it. An organizer receives twenty cards, yet the exercise fails because one card uses an obsolete phrase. A developer demonstrates an import, yet no one asks what happens to existing data when parsing fails.
The Method selects a bounded question set for a stated use. Start with the result people are trying to obtain and one consequential omission. The first useful result is a small set of answerable questions, each connected to its subject, interpretation basis and practical contribution.
Use a direct question when that settles the immediate difficulty. Use domain inquiry when nobody yet knows what characteristics would serve the work. Selection can reveal that missing contribution, but cannot replace it.
