CHK.1:2 - Problem

A list copied from another setting can be both complete on paper and irrelevant in use. A list generated from a task description can omit an important consequence or inherit a mistaken assumption. Adding every imaginable question makes the aid harder to use and can obscure the few answers that change action.

The selection problem is to direct limited attention toward consequential differences while keeping the selected coverage and its basis visible. The object being changed is the question set; the subject of each question remains separately identifiable.
