Practice question. How can a formed development-direction question enter responsible advice without collapsing recipient, sponsor, professional service, and later choice?
Best-known line for this use. Combine PSD.1’s bounded receiving-use question with the applicable professional relationship conditions. This pattern adapts that division in :4.1–:4.4 and :4.6–:4.7: use the smallest adequate boundary, establish the actual service limits, and return missing premises to their owners.
Serious alternative and trade-off. Generic authorization and a technically sound comparison can suffice for an ordinary local choice. They do not settle who receives Mira’s assessment or how a provider interest affects the consulting relationship. At comparable intake effort, a question about the intended recipient and disclosure exposes that defect. An exhaustive diagnostic or facilitation engagement can be useful when it is the actual service, but adds burden without resolving a formed question more directly. The selected boundary trades a small amount of explicit agreement for a more usable and contestable service; the constructed cases do not establish measured effectiveness.
Professional source returns. NCDA’s 2024 Code, A.2, A.10, and E.2, informs the human career-service participation, assessment, and referral limits in :4.2–:4.3. ICMCI v4.0’s identified engagement clauses inform client involvement and conflict treatment in :4.1 and :4.4. These are bounded source contributions, not one universal professional code or a complete current certification standard.
AI-assisted service. The ICMCI AI Code v1.0 adds the answer-changing responsibility, content-review, information-use, and material-disclosure conditions in :4.5. This pattern adopts their professional-scope boundary and rejects treating tool availability as warrant. Those conditions do not evaluate the AI development subject.
Limits and reopen. Apply the professional sources only where their scope or adoption is established, together with the actual local requirements. Reopen the affected boundary when those requirements, the service purpose, recipient, competence, conflict, or information-use conditions change, or when a less burdensome arrangement preserves the same protections and useful return.
