The recipient can understand what help is being offered, whose interests are represented, what may be disclosed, and which decision remains theirs or another participant’s. A formed question can proceed without unnecessary construction or facilitation.
The boundary can also expose a genuine limit: a smaller service, an additional qualified supplier, a referral, or no responsible advice under the requested terms. Agreeing these limits costs attention and can frustrate a sponsor, but prevents a fluent answer from concealing the wrong service.
