EXD.1:6 - Bias-Annotation

The explainer’s expertise can make one interpretation seem inevitable. Begin with the actual requested use and keep a serious alternative visible when it would change the answer. A question bank can reveal possibilities, but its categories may constrain what recipients ask; allow them to supply their own question and reason.

The instructional case makes a correct answer easy to compute. In technical or advisory work, disagreement about the basis can remain unresolved even after the question is clear.
