ForcePractical tension
Simplicity and discriminationEasy values reduce calculation burden but may make different rules produce the same number.
Familiarity and correspondenceA familiar setting can support the mapping or draw attention to irrelevant similarities.
Guidance and independent contributionShowing every step can supply the needed relation; an initial attempt can reveal what support is missing.
A useful boundary and excess detailOne changed condition can expose the limit, while an exhaustive catalogue can obscure the first connection.
