ACHIEVEMENT — The numbers improved, but the wanted result is missing

  • Situation: A team completed its planned activities and reports green key results, while customers still lack the promised outcome.
  • Question: What would establish that the goal was achieved?
  • First useful result or blocker: A corrected achievement test that distinguishes the wanted result from activity and keeps unfinished cases visible; or the exact unavailable observation needed to decide.
  • Start with: GOALS.2, using the actual goal and cases.
  • Stop or return: Use sufficient existing evidence directly. Return to GOALS.1 if participants disagree about the result itself.
