HCD.13:6 - Bias-Annotation

An assessor may prefer a simple story of forgetting or resilience. Resist it when support, access, practice or task conditions changed. People with required assistive technology should not receive a lower capability judgement merely because the assessment removed it.

Repeated probes can favour people who learn from the test itself. Record relevant practice and order effects rather than interpreting every later improvement as stable retention.
