The question is how to obtain usable membership, rather than optimize one universal group profile. Adapt explicit, separable formation criteria from Müller et al., online 2024. Their mathematics-course construction used prior knowledge and extraversion; an algorithm’s fit metric does not establish learning or justify personality measurement here. Sections 4.1–4.2 instead select only task-changing criteria.
Liang, Toyokawa and Ogata, 2025 extend task-local grouping through active-reading markers and interpretable displays. Their discussion identifies the tension between aggregate fit and weak individual groups, and unresolved weighting choices. Section 5.4 develops a manual, task-bounded comparison rather than adopting one fitness objective universally. Their high-school reading comparison used different text portions in a fixed order and added visualization; it does not establish superiority for this adult diagnostic arrangement.
Zhang, Allon and Van Mieghem’s draft of 21 September 2015, §3.3 supplies the bounded contact construction: preferences, pairing, an invitation and a report of connection or rematching need. Its low reported uptake motivates §4.3’s distinction, without establishing an effect for this programme.
Wu, Nijstad and Yuan, 2022 distinguish generation of ideas from their incorporation into a group product. Section 4.4 adapts that distinction to learning; their poster task and reward conditions provide no universal rotation rule. Compared with fixed membership or automatic reshuffling, the present method spends effort only on a missing contribution. Reconsider when contact cost, task dependence or the benefit of continuity changes.
