HCD.21:5.2 - A newcomer changes one assumption
The Tuesday triad has already selected an explanation. In the next comparison, C is replaced by a participant whose experience includes instrument configuration. The continuing members supply the current question and the observation conditions. The newcomer asks whether the readings came from the same operating mode. The group inspects that condition, preserves its valid arithmetic and restricts the causal conclusion until the observation basis is settled.
Here the gain is a changed use of evidence. If the group merely repeats its earlier conclusion after welcoming the newcomer, the proposed gain has not occurred. If the task instead needs continuity of a delicate joint manipulation, replacing C can increase rehearsal cost; retain the group and obtain the bounded specialist contribution separately.
