HCD.22:5.3 - Shared equipment and an explanation without a report
In a safe instrument-training task, one participant operates while others predict, identify a mismatch or select a measurement. The operator uses that contribution and explains the response; roles then change so that required control actions are personally performed. No private first answer is necessary before a novice has seen how to use the instrument. Later interpretation still needs a task that does not supply the decisive choice.
A different task asks one participant to explain why two visually similar technical passages imply different actions. The recipient applies each passage to a small case, exposes an ambiguity and requests a repair. The explainer revises the account and the recipient retries. The learning interaction can be complete without a common written report. The result is the explained distinction and its observed use, with any help and remaining difficulty preserved.
