HCD.23:4.3 - Reconcile without erasing the alternatives
Compare the accounts against the criterion and decisive conditions. Retain the valid step in each, correct the unsupported step and state what would reverse the resulting judgement. The output can be a revised explanation, a choice with a limitation or a question for a specialist. It need not be a separate group report.
Ask a participant other than the original explainer to carry out the connection. For instance, after hearing why a batch overhead matters, the listener computes the changed capacity and explains which action the new limit permits. If only the original speaker can do so, supply targeted feedback or another contrast before reporting a shared understanding.
When everyone adopts the same wrong account, inspect the criterion, common material and help as well as the learners. Preserve the original responses, obtain the subject correction, and give participants another opportunity to make the affected choice. HCD.19 addresses a material defect; HCD.7/.8 addresses missing qualified assistance.
