HCD.9:10 - Rationale
Feedback contributes to development only through what reaches a learner and can be used in another action. Its name, score, or provider intention cannot substitute for content, timing, receipt, correction, and retry. Preserving the first attempt protects both learning design and later evidence interpretation.
A local correction is valuable without proving a general capability. The episode result therefore ends at changed or unchanged action under stated conditions and sends transfer, retention, causal, and consequential decisions to the Methods that can support them.
