HRM.Reference:5.1 - Successful automation opens new work
A service has reliable automated report preparation and proposes a new advisory offering. Strategy selects the worthwhile opportunity. Operations establishes the proposed demand and promises. OCE compares ways of supplying it, including agents, providers and differently organized work. HRM.1 then asks what work remains for people and under which terms they can supply it.
The old unaided reporting test no longer answers the advisory selection question. HRM.2 derives a relevant assessment from the proposed work and permitted support. HRM.3 evaluates changed job demands separately from individual performance and considers the resulting reward arrangement. If experienced advisers must mentor others, billable targets must leave attainable time for that commitment. HRM.4 obtains the required employee influence and handles a challenge to a proposed rule. HRM.5 constructs particular movements, learning arrangements or exits with those affected. ADM makes the authorized terms effective; OCE and OPS provide the actual work.
The whole reveals a contradiction that none of the local outputs alone resolves: a role can look properly assessed and paid while its promised mentoring time is impossible. Revise the work, provision, target or promise at its owner. An engagement campaign cannot supply the missing time.
Now change only a pay rule’s effective date. Correct the affected entitlement and provision, retaining the supported work sample and acquired capability. If instead the AI arrangement loses a needed function, revisit the obtaining choice and the affected assessment. These different returns follow from the grounds of the original decisions.
