MDPE.12:4.3 - Comparative Music and rhythm-aware representation

Comparative-Music sources use listening, notation, acoustic features, coded corpora, macro-features, and rhythm-aware sequence comparison. McBride and Fitch aligned many Irish dance-tune variants before examining mutability, substitution, positional conservation, and covariance. The rhythm-aware adaptation matters because a borrowed sequence representation can erase timing distinctions central to the material.

This can support a bounded continuity or transmission claim for those materials and Methods. It does not decide artistic value, performer control, event investment, or current audience recognition.
