MDPE.14:3.2 - Select and support the conflict branch

For every branch used, state the two subjects and the relation between them.

QuestionRequired answer
Which Method or Work part changed?Name the larger Method or Work whole and the actual part relation, or do not call it a part.
Which Work obtains together?Name the overlapping Work occurrences, interval, participating Agents and Systems, and results that must coexist.
Which scale order matters?Name the scale variable and ordering relation. If none is stated, do not call the conflict cross-scale.
Which slower arrangement constrains current Work?Name the judging, teaching, platform, repertoire, event, or institutional relation and the current Work it constrains.
Which representation changes the decision?Name the represented subject, preserved and hidden distinctions, receiving use, and the decision that consumes it.

Also state whether the basis is an observed difference, a design hypothesis, an association, or a causal contribution. The selected structural relation does not by itself carry a causal effect.

If none of these relations changes the decision, stop using this pattern and use ordinary comparison.
