ME.11:10 - Rationale
Actual Work is the shared empirical base, but coherence, fit, transfer, worth, capability, contribution, and causality are different claims. Keeping them separate lets the same occurrence inform several decisions without allowing one decision to inherit another’s conclusion.
Representative and discriminating situations are paired because typical-use evidence and boundary-finding evidence answer different questions. Their selection is decision-relative; it does not create statistical representativeness or a universal situation taxonomy.
