ME.18:9 - Consequences
For consequential decisions, practitioners reconstruct candidate accounts claim by claim, make the sources traceable, and can retain variants. The receiving decision gains stronger accounts or an honest lower result rather than a single fluent reconstruction.
The cost is specialist sampling, evidence access, and analysis. Some evidence will remain unusable for the desired claim, and a well-run programme can still return no Method candidate.
