MNT.6:3 - Forces
Waiting may allow deterioration or loss of service; acting early may waste useful life and create new faults. More diagnosis can narrow the choice but delay a necessary response. A reversible restriction can preserve useful operation while reducing demand, but only within its supported and permitted envelope. Compare these consequences without treating urgency as evidence of either cause or authority.
