OCE.10:4.6 - Return the consequence, revise or stop

Return what the available grounds warrant now. For a performed intervention, state what changed in participation and receiving work, what remained costly or missing, and which rival explanation survives. Continue only within the support of the current observations; revise a defeated mechanism or return a professional question to its owner. A useful response can remain warranted while its isolated causal explanation is unresolved.

An intervention can be useful without being sufficient. Distinguish a bounded participation improvement, evidence of recurrent local practice, an unchanged gap and a wider causal or cultural claim.

For ordinary local action, a short account of the episode, supported response and its use limit can suffice. Include a next observation only when the inquiry has a worthwhile attainable contribution. Stronger causal reliance uses C.28 and suitable evidence. Privacy, worker protection, safety, employment authority and professional competence remain direct conditions even for a small intervention. For a wider consequence comparison, use OCE.13; for an authorized organization-relation revision, use OCE.14. This Method includes the observations and local corrections needed for a claimed performed intervention.
