OPS.12:5.3 - AI preparation transfers effort to readers

An assisted service triples draft production while keeping the same acceptance team. Readers report more interruptions and unfinished reviews. The relevant operating work includes checking outputs, resolving errors and answering requests, so draft count does not represent the whole burden.

The practitioner compares limiting generated drafts to the acceptance rate, obtaining qualified review capacity, and changing preparation so that fewer unusable drafts reach readers. An immediate admission limit can reduce the growing backlog under the existing service authority. A changed preparation method needs evidence that it preserves the required output quality; additional review capacity needs a real capability and staffing result.

The observation follows accepted results, rework, interruptions and the readers’ accounts over the chosen window. If fewer drafts leave service commitments unsupported, use OPS.13 to obtain the needed service decision from the responsible parties. Requiring readers to clear every generated draft by extending their work would recreate the original burden.
