OPS.21:4.6 - Revise the affected object when conditions change

Ask which premise changed and what used it. New demand evidence changes the forecast. A resource decision changes available provision when it is actually implemented. A changed recipient need or an invalid comparison can justify revising the aim. A service commitment changes through the parties’ applicable agreement under OPS.13. None of these changes automatically performs the others.

A difficult but still useful ambition can remain while the team changes its action or requests support. An aim whose purpose disappeared should be replaced even if it remains easy to hit. Keep the earlier aim and its basis available for OPS.22; a justified revision helps interpret performance but does not turn a previous miss into a hit. Revisit only the affected contribution and preserve adequate neighboring work.
