RHY.10:1 - Problem frame
Use this when performers can receive one another’s cues yet disagree about entry, beat or cycle position, drift during a passage, or lose their relationship after a pause or tempo change. They may say the same count while locating it in different places.
Establish what their actions relate to, the placement they intend and how they will adjust or recover. The first result is a usable reference and coordination for the passage, or a localized missing cue, interpretation or capability.
Keep an established coordination when it serves the work. A deliberately delayed accent or expressive tempo change needs its intended relation preserved; it does not call for automatic alignment to an even click.
