RHY.12:10 - Architectural Rationale
Rhythmic performance combines relations that are distinguishable in a description but may have to be carried out together. The phrase boundary, gesture cycle, sound duration and movement continuation therefore belong inside the practice construction, rather than appearing only in the final test.
A constituent/encompassing Method relation differs from the relation between simultaneous rhythmic layers. Balance control can support several layers; producing one layer can require several constituent Methods. Practising an isolated contribution is useful when it helps restore that simultaneous performance.
General development design, feedback and scheduling remain in HCD. The domain contribution here is the construction of rhythmic exercises, their interpretation and return to the passage.
