RHY.12:5.3 - A constituent works only with assistance
A dancer remembers a figure and has sufficient strength for its movements, but loses balance during its rotation and misses the following weight transfer. More counting does not address the observed loss during the turn.
A qualified dance teacher chooses a familiar, supported rotational exercise that preserves the relevant preparation and continuing transfer, and gives technique-specific feedback. In the stipulated attempt the dancer completes the smaller rotation and continuation; the original unsupported turn still fails. The next programme step therefore remains development of that coordination, followed by rejoining the original figure. It is not another memory drill, nor a claim that the whole figure is now available.
The rhythmic Method identifies the needed contribution and preserves its place in the figure. The teacher supplies the bodily technique. Balance control and the required rhythmic weight transfer must occur together in the figure, although their practice activities can occur in succession.
