RHY.14:2 - Problem
Observation selects what becomes visible. An onset detector can miss a quiet stroke or count a reverberation twice. A camera can show placement without revealing the pressure a partner uses. A request to tap changes listening into a task that includes producing an action.
Comparing the easiest available values can therefore select a variant that fails the intended passage. The observation must retain the relation that makes a result useful and expose the losses that could reverse the choice.
