RHY.2:2 - Problem

Available representations expose different aspects of an activity. A list of attacks can preserve their order while omitting a continuous movement. A histogram of intervals can preserve their frequencies while losing their order. A video can show contact without establishing which contact carried weight. Treating any one of these as a complete rhythmic account makes a later comparison or correction depend on information it never contained.
