RHY.4:4.2 - Identify the relevant landmarks
Follow the action only as far as the question requires: command, movement, contact, sound or load change, and received cue. Choose the physical or response feature used to locate each relevant event.
For contact, the rule might be the first sustained contact visible in a suitable recording. For weight arrival, specify the mechanical or task criterion actually used; an audible footfall alone cannot provide it. For a perceived location, state whose judgement, which reference and which task supplies the estimate.
Treat an uncertain location as an interval or a spread of responses when appropriate. A threshold or detector identifies a feature under its rule; a large number of reported decimal places adds no warrant.
