RHY.4:4.4 - Change the contribution that can improve the relation
Choose a controllable change: when preparation begins, when the action is triggered, the shape of the sound or pressure change, the cue used by the receiver, or the division of coordination work.
Hold other consequential conditions sufficiently stable to interpret the trial. A fixed timing shift is a candidate when the same cue has a repeatable offset under those conditions. If the shape, tempo, receiver or context changes, inspect the relation again rather than carrying the old offset forward automatically.
Check the result that motivated the correction. Earlier contact is useful only if it improves the intended timing or usable continuation. If the adjustment harms another contribution, retain the trade-off and compare another variant.
