RHY.5:7 - Conformance Checklist

  • The representation supports a named rhythmic operation for an identified user.
  • Its positional, articulatory, phrase or trajectory meaning is available, rather than inferred from a familiar-looking sign.
  • The reference, grouping and omission convention preserve the distinctions the operation consumes, including unarticulated beats, sustain and silence when relevant.
  • A contrasting use exposes the relevant losses or confirms adequacy for that use.
  • Interpreting the representation and physically performing it remain separately warranted.
  • Complementary forms have a usable correspondence when both are retained.
