RHY.Preface:3 - Forces - Preserve the relation at an affordable cost
| Requirement | Choice it creates |
|---|---|
| A manageable representation and a usable performance | An onset list makes some comparisons easy; duration, movement or another reference must remain available when the operation depends on it. |
| A clear articulation and a continuing contribution | Making an accent stronger can interrupt the sound, movement or contact which the rest of the performance needs. |
| A convenient timing measure and the participant’s task | The detected attack, felt arrival and partner-readable cue can call for different corrections. |
| Practicable exercise and the intended whole | Removing a difficult constituent can permit practice while also removing the relation that had to be learned. |
| A trustworthy conclusion and limited time | An existing observation can settle the next choice. A stronger transfer, retention or population claim may require different evidence. |
| Shared cultural access and distinctive practice | An easily copied carrier can erase a distinction or embodied technique that makes the practice useful. |
Use these tensions to choose an intervention. They do not require maximizing every property or collecting every kind of evidence.
