RMP.5:9 - Consequences
Research results become more usable because their claims, material and limits remain connected. Criticism can preserve a descriptive or computational result while rejecting an unsupported extension. Adequate existing analysis and concise answers avoid unnecessary recomputation and records.
The cost is professional judgement about the Method and inference. Some desired conclusions remain unresolved, and some material cannot support the examination a receiver wants. Naming that limit protects both the useful result and the later decision; it does not replace missing evidence.
