RMP.8:2 - Problem
Research conclusions often change in transmission. A limited finding becomes a general recommendation; a criticism of one assumption is read as rejection of the whole model; a correction about one event silently replaces a claim about another. Conversely, an amended source can leave a known receiving use dependent on the earlier claim.
Another failure is to demand a new investigation whenever uncertainty remains. That postpones useful qualified answers and treats a proposed examination as evidence already obtained. A lack of feasible inquiry does not make the current account more credible.
The practitioner needs to identify the warranted change, carry it through the relevant account and return it with the limits that can change reliance.
