RMP.8:9 - Consequences
The practitioner can preserve a useful research contribution while changing only what the evidence warrants. The recipient can distinguish a supported result from a stronger extrapolation, a defeated explanation and a future hypothesis.
The cost depends on the account’s dependencies and actual reliance. A short current answer may suffice; an established model or consequential published correction can require recovery of prior meaning and a responsible return.
