Public returns to adjoining practice
Use the companion publications when the first result belongs to an adjoining practice. The requested result remains theirs; finding the publication does not establish that the result has been supplied for the current case.
For FPF, download the complete FPF-Spec.md (another source edition), open the downloaded file in a text or Markdown reader, and search for the full pattern headings given below.
| Needed contribution | Where to continue and what to bring back |
|---|---|
| Recover an answer from existing sources. | Start with RMP.1:4.3 in this publication. In the downloaded FPF specification, find ## F.1 - Question-Relative Source Selection, ## F.0.1 - Source-Local Meaning Recovery, and ## A.10 - Evidence Graph Referring: Claim-Bound Evidence and Provenance Graph for their contributing methods. Bring back the answer, sources, applicability and remaining uncertainty relevant to the research question. |
| Specify or examine the measurement account used by the inquiry. | In the downloaded FPF specification, find ## C.16 - Measurement & Metrics Characterization (MM‑CHR). Bring back the measurand, applicable method and model, qualification, value and uncertainty needed for the research use, together with the competent domain or laboratory result. |
| Identify or improve a reusable research Method, or test its situational fit. | Start with Method Engineering ME.1 for the Method being changed; use ME.11 for a trial in representative work and ME.13 for fit or transfer. Bring the research-specific failure, question and criticism requirement. RMP.9 locates the research-practice decision and determines whether a trial is needed. |
| Engineer the system or arrangement needed to obtain a result. | Use Systems Engineering SYSE.1 for the system being changed and SYSE.24 when obtaining arrangements compete. Bring the needed engineering contribution and applicable research constraints; a delivered apparatus is distinct from the research claim it may help test. |
| Continue routine operating observation or response. | Use Operations Management with the supplied variables, response conditions, and operating authority. Return an unexplained mechanism, validity, or transfer question to RMP.1 only if the research conditions become relevant. |
Domain-specific instruments, observation admissibility, source authenticity, ethics, rights, safety, and receiving decisions still require their actual competent owners. These public returns locate reusable contributions; they do not replace those case-specific results.
