STR.9:9 - Consequences

The recipient can see the conditions under which the recommendation is useful and the point at which another option becomes preferable. Information priorities become tied to real decisions, and flexibility can be compared without pretending it is free.

The result can remain set-valued or conditional. That is preferable to a precise ranking unsupported by the model, evidence or legitimate value choice. It can still support a bounded current commitment.
