Return the result with the work required to use it
Assume a limited demonstration succeeds, but depends on manual correction by the search team’s specialist. Engineering returns the demonstrated function, known limitations and missing construction. Marketing preserves the qualified customer response and the conditions of the trial offer. Operations receives the actual correction and support demand. The owner defers production handover and asks engineering whether removing the manual correction could justify another bounded investigation. The qualified commercial response remains available for that decision.
Before any handover, identify who can receive and use the result, what preparation and authority that receiver needs, what unresolved work remains, and who will fund and perform it. Include version and input conditions that change correctness. An operational team that has neither the capability nor the assigned support cannot be made the owner of delivery merely by receiving a demonstration. MKT.11 keeps the customer promise aligned with this actual provision. MKT.13 subsequently tests repeatability under the ordinary arrangement; a favourable commercial signal is preserved at its original strength.
If the specialist’s access disappears or current-service incidents consume the protected interval, return to the affected arrangement. OCE.14 distinguishes supplying an unrealised selection, correcting an operating defect and revising an organisation relation that no longer fits. A useful technical finding can survive suspension of the current search arrangement. Recompare the whole only when the changed condition affects parity or the available alternatives.
