A.15.11:4.5 - Try the intended arrangement

Use a safe instance of the receiving work. Establish whether the cue is actually encountered, whether its relevance can be recovered, and what the participant then does. Include a condition that defeats the proposed match when a plausible false recommendation could change the outcome.

Keep the intended aids available. If a coach adds an explanation during the trial, that explanation becomes part of what enabled the result. If an AI assistant receives additional context, its success applies to that context. To claim use without those aids, examine that different configuration separately.

Use E.23.CAE when distinguishing recognition, access, adaptation and capability change would alter the remedy. A bounded practical repair can proceed without a complete causal diagnosis. If the arrangement fails, locate the failure: no encounter, unclear relation, unavailable instruction, missing capability, inappropriate method or excessive burden.
